A study on the Siege of Masada, 73CE

I have read about this siege via of Josephus documentation of events, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Masada

There are also a documentary, pretty incredible seeing the structure and the Romans had to scale.

However, this recent study casts doubt on the account claiming the siege was over in weeks not three years.

There's an enjoyable miniseries about the siege, deceptively titled "Masada", starring Peter O'Toole. It's based on the (fiction) novel The Antagonists by Ernest Gann, rather than direct from Josephus, but a good watch, in a 1980's sort of way.
