35th Parallel

This burgeoning group is quickly becoming one of my favorites. The music they play is incredible. I'd like to go into more detail if anyone has heard their stuff, their website is here. It's just crazy how awesome they are. If you have a few bucks to throw around, I'd suggest taking a look at their website to get an idea of who they are, then, like, purchase their cd. Croicky. Just...croicky.

That group they mention on their site is better. The flute makes a huge difference in Evren Ozan's music, i prefer it over 35th parallel's music. No to say 35th parallel is bad by any means.

I'll give some of it a listen tomorrow, it's kind of late for me now.

But I forgot to tell the story. You see, these guys actually came to my school and performed a free concert, but I completely missed it. I had no idea there was one, and then a few days later one of my friends has their cd and we're listening to it and I'm creaming my pants. Go figure.

Well, not literally. Perhaps I shold have replaced "creaming" with "splooging."

Isn't it amazing how such old instruments still reign over the new fangled technology in the arena of music.
