    Real things are characterized by:

    1- be perceptible.
    2- be observable by some instrument.
    3- have objective evidence of its existence.

    Space and time fall into category 3. Space has the extension of bodies as objective evidence. Time has as objective evidence the evolution of changes.

    In Grammar, time is considered as an abstract noun, but in reality it is a physical quantity.

    Agreed

    Second statement ;

    Explain further

    To your very last statement ;

    But NOT a Physical Quality . Time has no Physical Quality .

    Changes evolve because time exists.

    The physical quality of time is continuity

    Changes evolve because they are permitted to evolve. The resulting emerging duration of change is symbolized as Time.
    The physical quality of continuity is a "permittive condition". Time emerges along with duration of change.

    Disagree

    Your continuity is based on the Physical Existence . Movement(s) , of the Physical . Take away the Physical , Time collapses .

    Take away time and the universe collapses.

    Right, but as long as there is physical continuity, Time is a measurable part of that equation.
    But I agree, take away the physical, time simply does not emerge.

    OK let me explain my use of the term.

    Emergentism , philosophy.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergentism

    Question; Does consciousness have a prior existence or is it an emergent property. A result greater (over and above) the sum of its parts" ?

    To show a clear example of an emergent physical properties;
    H2O Is a molecule. A large collection of H2O molecules may be expressed as becoming expressed in 3 different states (gas, liquid, solid). Each of these non-existent prior states emerge as a result of density and temperature which determine the emergent state the H2O collection of molecules.

    Visualize a hot air balloon. You inflate the balloon with air but it doesn't go anywhere.
    Now heat up the air inside the balloon and the balloon becomes buoyant....!!!
    It acquires a prior non-existent new emergent property of .... "air becoming lighter than air".....

    An emergent property in this context is the emergence of a prior non-existent "additional property" over and above the sum of its parts.

    Pretty close to the mark.
    More correctly, time and space depend on one another...without space, we have no time, without time, we have no space. Both evolved at t+ 10-43 seconds, in an event we know as the BB.
    I'm pretty sure what I said above is what Tegmark means.

    Wrong

    Try again .

    Not at all. Perhaps you lack normal comprehension of the English language? As you showed after the quote....
    “If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.”
    ― Carl Sagan, Cosmos"

    in the quote thread...with the question, "Invent the Universe?"

    About ?

    Tegmark; "Space does not exist in time, time exists in space".

    Is there a problem with Tegmarks quote , pad ? Or anybody Really .

    TIME: FUNDAMENTAL VS EMERGENT

    The emergent refers to a system whose properties or processes are not reducible to those of its constituent parts.
    The emergent properties belong to the system as a whole and not to its constituent parts.

    Of time we perceive changes, but not their magnitude or quantity. We perceive changes, but not their duration.
    It does not matter if it is absolute or relative, fundamental or emergent, dependent or independent of space, time is magnitive. This category does not have an opposite and is an epithet of time.

    P. S.
    1- Magnitive (from magnitude): something imperceptible that is known for its effects and its measurement.
    2- Time is made up of changes and duration T (CD).

    1) evidence

    2) movement is made up of changes and duration , by objects , themselves . Time is indeed made up theory of movement . Time can never cause movement .
