    The whole thing is absurd...
I am sure the Democrat Party machine is holding on to hundreds of Trump campaign ending facts and are simply waiting to see if Trump and his Republican party can last the distance (to a week of so before the actual election) with out the Democrats thoroughly compromising their platform all on their own.

That is a nonsensical response given because you don't have a qualified answer.

Again, you are claiming that there is a giant conspiracy that Trump and only Trump has the inside story. Everyone else is a conspirator.

And you think the rest of the world is brainwashed and Trump and only Trump is the light of the world? You can't see how your position is illogical to the point of being delusional?

Do you believe Obama was born in Kenya?
Do you believe Cruz's father helped to kill Kennedy?
Do you believe scientists all over the world are involved in yet another conspiracy
Do you believe the Chinese are responsible for the alleged global warming hoax?
Do you believe the Illuminati are running the world and Trump is out to get them?
Did we go to the moon?
    Did the government create AIDS?
How far do your conspiracy theories go? Is the government being run by aliens?

I'm an Independent and we are the dominant party. We just aren't official. That will likely change. The obvious path is to grab up independents and moderate Dems., and moderate Republicans, and form a new conservative party.

One of the main problems the right has is the failure of laissez faire capitalism [market discipline failed and led to the crash] and supply side economics. Republicans have no viable economic platform.

I have claimed no such thing.
You have created a fiction in your mind, and would spend time arguing against that fiction.
It's your figment of your imagination----------I hope your argument with yourself comes out well for you.

There is no equivalence between the two Parties, in that respect. The average American is more leftwing and more libertarian than either Party's executive management, but the difference is much smaller with respect to the Dems.

Meanwhile, Trump is in very good touch with the Republican base - not the same thing as the "average American", fortunately, but a significant fraction of the electorate.

Trump now wants to undermine legal protections for US Citizens. He wants to bypass the justice system and use military justice instead.

    http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/201...ding-american-citizens-guantanamo-bay-n628861

He wants to eliminate Constitutional protections for citizens who haven't been convicted of anything.

    Sixth Amendment
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

This guy is truly terrifying. I can only hope his followers are seriously misguided and do not truly desire to live in a military state run by a dictator. Because that is precisely what Trump wants.

Now he is claiming that if Hillary wins in PA where she is kicking his butt by an average of over 9 points, she cheated. So he continually seeks to undermine confidence in the election process, the basis of a free democracy.

Trump supporters complain that the media should focus on other things that matter. A man trying to undermine the Constitution who is seen by former intelligence officials as a threat to the country and the world, does matter.

A quick and unqualified global snapshot :
    • Trump for president (USA): (potential destruction of the Republican party as we knew it)
    • Da'esh's insanity (Middle East): (potential destruction of Islam as we knew it)
    • Erdogan: (Turkey) Paranoid to the extreme ( potential destruction of the democratic process)
    • Duterte: (Philipines) Throws the criminal legal system out the window.
    • Putin: Serious Paranoia (Russia): Sacks close long term ally. Crazy fly by's and sacks entire fleet command. Repeatedly tells the Russian public that the West wants to invade Russia.
    • Chinese paranoia: Seriously silly claim to the South China sea, builds artificial island and waves it's big stick to protect it.
    • North Korea: Actions that beggar belief.
    • Great Britain: Brexit. Places an almost illiterate in charge of foreign policy.
    • Japan to hold referendum to change it's constitution regarding it's defense/offense capacity.

Gosh the list just goes on...
    Paranoia is the common theme

The former director of the CIA and NSA is paranoid? I think you're paranoid!

Or is your point that Trump is exploiting paranoia. If so, that is clearly true.

oh that is so obvious it's ridiculous....
Trump has made the marketing skill of "fear mongering" a crazy art form....

My point is that global paranoia is seriously obvious and is infecting all governments around the globe big time.

No doubt about that. A "friend" keeps telling me that his Trump buddies online all plan to take the streets with their guns if Trump loses. Good! It makes them easier to arrest or be taken out by the National Guard if needed.

    Not at all....
People that are trained in the fields they specialize in are generally devoted to the anti paranoia strategy called "FACT Finding". Or reliance on hard evidence ( facts). The 'ole scientific method so to speak.

Sorry, I didn't understand the intent of your post.

I wonder if this is due to the rise in instant media. Unfiltered propaganda without limits.

well.... FEAR ( hysteria) has been proven countless times to be contagious. Social media, instant news and global communications for the public means that fear propagates very quickly. The advent of the global INTERNET means that there is a huge potential for mass hysteria.

there are many examples of such in recent times around the world.

Example: The attempted Military Coup in Turkey was thwarted by a call to protect democracy using social media.

yes even here in Melbourne Australia there is rumor ( fear) on the streets of "USA armed revolution" if Trump's claim that the election is rigged if he loses is sustained in peoples fearful minds.
What's happening in the USA is immediately impacting on people here due to instant news, so I would "fearfully" imagine that it is impacting globally as well.
In other words, any person who has a smart phone or internet connection now considers that there is a serious claim that the USA election may be rigged bringing the credibility of USA governance in to question.

So yes IMO with out question Trump poses a "clear and present danger" if the paranoia (mass hysteria)we as a global community are experiencing, is not managed properly.

Of course, the media are playing a big role in Trump's campaign. They can't afford to not cover his every utterance. He's newsworthy, but not because of his eloquence and clear grasp of issues.

His newsworthiness is all down to how good he is at acting like an asshole, then he has to complain about how the media portrays him, how they can't tell when he's joking or being sarcastic. Many people are saying he's only talking to one group of people anyway--the ones prepared to attempt some kind of post-election armed rebellion against the state, to save the White race. It's in the Constitution, right? Am I right?
