Who will moderate the Moderator

A paradox itself, but I feel issue is bigger than that....

I want to know from the rule makers of this forum...

Q1. Is it proper on the part of the Moderator to give his response inside the OP itself ?

As per rules Mod has the right to edit / delete (unacceptavle or abusive contents) but he has no right to give his response inside the OP, this is overstepping on the part of this particular Moderator? Moderator is a member too, he should very clearly understand these two roles.

Q2. is there any rule for which a member can be awarded poins for reporting some other members post ?

The warning line at the top of the OP, is violation of member's right of secret reporting ? If the Moderator had any objection on reporting he could have PMed, he could have rejected my report (with warning in alert message)..where was the need for publicly disclosing. I thought it prudent to report a provoking and nonsensical pots#2 by Paddoboy to avoid further stupid exchange, but this Moderator instad of understanding the situation in totality, acted arbitrarily.

Q3. Was the Moderator action Justified ?

This particluar poster (Schneibster) asserted 3 Points (as raised in my above thread) claiming that too be mainstream. These assertion were objected by me and at least couple of other posters. I even specifically requested Mods to intervene and clarify the stand, but Mods did not respond, so I was forced to create this new thread. It was a dereliction of duty on the part of Mods not to intervene and respond when specifically asked for on a disputable point, on top of that it is absurd to act arbitrarily when question was raised with a force. Mods are responsible for letting situation come to this.

I want that my OP be reinstated, of course any abusive or objectional non technical matter can be edited, this particluar Mod has the right to respond as member or (even as expert Mod) in a separate post.

You do not even understand angle in radians suggesting non science/maths background. What comment can you make on astronomy topics other than such inane single liners ? The subject is too complex for you, you may be a specialist in some other field, but this is not your cup of tea.

Unlike you, I'm able to learn new things. You should try it sometime.

I don't know what the policy is here, but on the other forum where I am a member there are guidelines rather than rules and discretion is ultimately left to the moderator. The advantage of that system is it avoids being nickel-and-dimed on the interpretation of the rules, by argumentative troublemakers.

The stance is, look this is a club not a democracy, we indicate what the required behaviour is, but it is up to you to FIFO.

Actually I also think it is very salutary for all when a mod gives his or her reasons in public for taking issue with unacceptable behaviour.
 
I think the moderators have been more than tolerant. The God acts badly few could disagree.
He acts with bad temper.

He holds no respect for most aspects of mainstream science or for members attempts to help him.
And yet when his bad behaviour is addressed rather than apologising he becomes even more difficult to endure.

His infallibility is the mark of a fool and his failure to take a look at his bad behaviour and rectify his arogant behaviour is an indicator he fails to understand one earns respect rather than demanding it as a right.

How does anyone moderate the behaviour of a member who can not and will not moderate his own behaviour.

He is most eager to offer insult but unusually sensitive to correction.

And yet he makes this post presenting as the party who has been denied justice and seeks to avoid accepting that it is he who needs to improve.

Now if I am not on his ignore and he reads this I doubt my observations will cause him to rethink his position, his bad behaviour, his personal attacks and incessant critisism of current mainstream cosmology models nor have him conceed any fault at all.

It is a pity he displays hints of inteligence but hides it under a cloak of poor behaviour and bad temper.

Have I been too harsh?

No. Rpenner made a great comment about him recently:-

"You drag emotional baggage from thread to thread......this is a science forum, not a Byzantine novel of court intrigue."

Spot-on, I thought - and very funny.

Yes I read Rpenner's comment and considered it most appropriate.
I do not understand why the god is so bad tempered.

I do not understand his need to insulting to other members.

I dont know if he thinks he is not as good as others and feels a need to prove himself or if he actually believes he is better than all others.

I wonder about his choice of handle I wonder how he treats others in the real world and if he is a bully or the victim.

I wonder why he is so bad tempered and so ready to act the fool.

I do wish for his sake that he address his bad temper and work hard to gain the respect of members.

Few guys have responded. Daecon and Xelasnave lack basic understanding of the subject, Exchemist and Origin are dilettantes, so it is quite likely that I have objected to their pretentions or inaccuracies harshly in the other threads, so they are here to settle score,...Good, thats ordinary, but do something beyond ordinary, guys. Can you ?

By the way who will answer the questions raised in the OP ?
 
Basic understanding of which subject? Forum moderation? That IS what this thread is trying to be about, isn't it?
 
You forgot to answer the question.

You made a thread about the rules of thread moderation and then complain that I lack a basic understanding of the subject.

I did not complain, I made a factual statement.... if a poster does not understand angle unit definition then the conclusion is very simple and thats what I stated. I do not dispute your expertise in a field which you have not shared yet, but maths/science, no..
 
And what does me learning about radians have to do with the issue you have with forum moderation?

This from someone who uses the word theory to mean it is nothing more than a basic idea and does not have a clue as to the meaning of the term "model" means in science.

I know what you know but you have no idea what I know about science and I dont care what you say about my knowlegde but so far I am most happy with my understanding which I am confident is better than yours.

Do not mistake my lack of engagement it comes from a determination not to waste my time explaining what other try unsuccesfully to do.

Early on I provided you with a link which offerred support for your non mainstream position.

I know you did not read it for if you had you would have come out guns blazing.

From that point I abandoned offerring you help.

Even I, a non scientist, can see you know little about cosmology and although you are happy to be a critic of matters you clearly do not understand you never offer any supported alternative hypothisis. And science is not about truth so be cautious when you think you have found "truth".

You just do not get it and given your reluctance to listen to members who actualy understand mainstream cosmology you continue on and on and on failing to contribute anything at all.

I think you are a pretender trying unsucessfully to punch above your weight. That is brave of you but you need not keep taking beatings to learn the game.

Unlike you I say that "I could be wrong" and we all know you are incapable of ever uttering those four simple words.

No doubt admitting you are wrong with an appropriate appology will never happen which is a pity that you have little concern for your personal self image and personal self esteem.
