I doubt anyone will be surprised. The report says the cause of her death was unknown...but it's probably a safe bet it was drug related.

I loved her . I am feeling the loss in a bad way. It is not that her last name is close to mine . It was her message little understood . If you can see your own addictions you will come to understand addiction much better . You might not be so harsh in your judgments

Stoni My man , You know . I think you should fly more and educate the wicked . You got the tools , I know you do

    Drugs are bad, mkey.

The part that bothers me is that I did not win the pool: she lasted longer then I expected.

While dying at that age was surely a cherry-picking pattern of coincidence back in the earliest days, it had probably started becoming a deliberate goal for such celebrities even before Cobain's mother revealed: "Now he’s gone and joined that stupid club. I told him not to join that stupid club.”

I'm pretty sure statistically you could find a whole bunch who died at all range of ages if you look hard enough.

Police suspect an overdose, apparently there was high levels of blood in her alcohol system.....

Amy singing 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow' acapella. No matter what anyone might think of how she lived her life, she really was a great vocalist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-WuaPdaP3c&feature=related

The chops were there its so sad that the only thing anyone seems to know of her is that stupid 'Rehab' song. She had much more talent than was being utilized or represented by the popular music that was being put out.

    I just wonder where :

    1. Her friends were?
    2. Her parents?
    3. Her manager that was supposed to make sure she was getting help so that he could make a living as well as her?

Everyone saw what was happening to her yet no one seemed to really want to try and help her in any way. Sad, but that's what happens sometimes in life, everyone that you think are your friends only turn out to be lier's and hangers on just to get next to you but not really there as a friend.

When the Doors got kicked out of the Whiskey A Go Go on Sunset Strip in the summer of 1967, they took a gig at a place called the Kaiser Dome in San Bernadino. On Tuesday nights you could get in to the place for $1.25, so friends and I did that, every night for the whole summer. We watched Jim Morrison drink 1 & 1/2 cases of Budweiser beer every performance that summer. He got really sloshed, threw the emptys into the crowd. Once he hit me on the head with one. He was really stoned. I haven't known many people who could or would drink that much.

I saw his early death coming, like Janis and Jimmy...they were all on a death trip. I have seen it, it sucks at you, it is very seductive...."don't go into the light!!!!"

It is indeed true that creative genius is just a step away from insanity. It is also very sad and a great loss to us all when one of our very bright stars goes out so very young.

This reminds me of when Kurt Cobain died from drug overdose. Another poor soul tortured by the cruelty of our world and pushed to death.

They never played there according to their concert schedual for that year or 1966. So How could you see them doing that if they were never there?
