Well ive always had a prollem wit spellin an had to work hard at it jus to get a average grade... so especialy sinse i started typin on the internet i jus spell stuff "my-way" which is comfortable for me... but from the 4th grade thru the 9th grade (when i quit school) i only studied hard enuff (very little) to make a "C" average... but in real life i been married to my only wife for almos 40 years... an ive worked at a job along side a functional Schizophrenic... he was a very nice guy who had conversatons wit Jesus an Jesus woud give him advice... an yet he said he woud drank a 6 pak an a half-pint of peach brandy an cry hisself to sleep each nite dew to bein treeted so bad by people at work.!!!

He was obcessed wit tryin to figer out why woman didnt want to have nuthin to do wit him... but the mos interestin thang about him is that he didnt "beleive" that God was real... he KNEW that Jesus was real.!!!

Anyhow... the "ufo" is a menory i have... but i do know that memories can be all screwed up.!!!

However... other memories i have from that sam time period have been confirmed by other people... such as when i ran into the white picket fence while on a bicycle an the nest thang i remenber is the nabor from across the street pullin me out of the ditch (i was aparentlyi "knocked-out" for several seconds)... an hangin from my legs on a tree limb an coudnt get down an jus befor i was about to fall the nabor girl saved me... an anuther time i was hangin on the clothline pole an fell an landed on my back an it knocked the breath out of me... an sinse i coudnt breath i figered i was gonna dye so i set down so i woudnt fall when i dyed... lol.!!!
 
Well, Geezas is not a God.
God is a God, and Geezas ( :)) ) is his prophet. Why he probably didn't believe in God? Perhaps he was an atheist, and only believed in Jesus, that's because that's actually a hystorical person, and it would be ignorance not to believe he existed. :D

oK i shud have said it this way:::
He didnt jus "beleive" that Jesus was real... he KNEW that Jesus was real... an thats not surprizin cause he didnt jus "pray" to Jesus/God... he saw an herd Jesus as clearly as he saw an herd other people an they had conversatons.!!!

BTW---Im not sure if he thout Jesus an God was the sam "person" or not.!!!

Jesus woud give this Guy advice such as:::
Dont button the top button on you'r shirt... ware a poncho to work... ect... an these thangs will cause girls to want to date him.!!!

This guy said he was in the military when the doctors said he was skitsophernic an they gave him medicine... but he knew he wasnt mentaly ill an he hated the mecicine cause it made him feel "dead" inside.!!!

I ask him... well didnt you notice that you had changed... an he kinda chuckled an said... i didnt change... i stayed the sam... the world suddenly changed.!!!

I haven't read the thread, but I'll contribute my findings on the subject. I don't believe in OBE's, ghosts, telekenesis or prophesy. The only thing that I do believe in with any real conviction is the ability to subconsciously detect when being watched. It's a common worldwide phenomena. People appear to have it to certain degrees. It fits with our animal evolution. Kind of makes sense doesn't it?

I think you will find because of the advent of live video surveillance of some public areas, the guys behind the cameras can tell when the girls know they are looking....[chuckle] no seriously...really....
It wont be long and some current affairs program will do a story and we shall see some embarressed faces I bet...:D and we shall have rudementary evidence of psy-contact at a distance [ even when the voyeour is on the other side of the globe if you like...] most women tend to have an acute "perv" alarm system built into their instincts...and they don;t always let on they know either...cheeky ...

Plenty: it's usually a confluence of not noticeably obvious clues (there was a thread discussing) that are put together in the subconscious.
Probably a hangover from of predator/ prey past.
If you wait for absolute confirmation that there's a big cat looking at you for lunch it's too late.
Instead what the mind does is put together things like (for example) noises in the vegetation not attributable to the wind, reduction in other animal calls so they don't get noticed, etc. etc.
It happens quite often in social situations too, big cat or not... ;)

well it's relatively new technology an dmost women aren;t stupid enoughto believe that all camera men are strictly plutonic in their monitoring.Such a boring job it is...

and if you talk to some of the security guys they aint going to to tell anyone official like either are they...I mean they aren't stupid either, but eventually it will break into the news I reckon.
Same with guys getting around the cities these days with large telephoto lenses attatched to their rather expensive digital slrs pretending to be professional photographers....observe them and what they are shooting from nearly 1/5 a click 500 metres and you will eventually see what I mean....teh girls they are shooting aren't stupid either even if they can't actually see the camera man...

great link Oli, makes you wonder though why they haven;t doen the research to find out if pheromones fuel the symptomology of illnesses like schizophrenia and other similar conditions...but as far as I know THEY HAVEN'T and that just pisses me right off...vested pharmacuitical industry issue no doubt. Non research into olfactory desensitisation done either as far as I know. [ ther eis anecdotal evidence that shows that a person undergoing unrelated surgery and is placed under come outof it very much different in many respects. referering to case study of nonspeaking autistic boy, after unrelated surgery ... is speaking...

Meh, I know for a fact that there's more on this "sixth sense"* - you know, when you realise that someone's staring at you behind your back, and that sort of stuff.
But I'm buggered if I can remember which books it's in or get the correct terms to Google it.
Give me time...

Sure the mind acts upon "not noticeably obvous clues" it receives an if thats what CC is talkin about i agree... but is ther evidence that somone can look at a video camera an know if they are actualy bein observed or not... like the stuff that Quantom Quack is suggestin???... no.!!!

As you stated: proprioception is self awareness, i.e. what your body is doing (being able to close your eyes and touch your nose straight away etc).
NOT correlation of external stimuli.

Thanks for the great links Oli. I personally believe that 'something' actually comes out of your eye when we give a lustful or hateful stare. Maybe the cones in the eye have an extra ability of producing some currently undetectable form of radiating particles in a direct line-of-sight?? It also links in with my belief in Bigfoots and Yowies etc which are renowned for inducing fear and the feeling of being intently watched. This could be the area which comes into conflict with mainstream scientific thinking. Economic land rights would also become a political hot-potato if these creatures were given official recognition to exist.

You mean by detecting differences in air pressure, differences in how the local wildlife is responding to the surroundings, etc.? If so, yep... but at the same time there is nothing psychic about it. It's all normal stimulus.
