When my girlfriend brought a picture of me home with her, they said that she was lying about having a new boyfriend, and they would not be fooled by the picture of the Northern Exposure guy she printed off the internet.
I don't think I look anything like him (and he was never my type), but I always liked his character on Northern Exposure - so I take it as a compliment.
