I just have it blank on the default windows setting because I reformat my harddrive so dag gone often :( Too much of a pain to set small details like that up again, over and over (too time consuming)

Though let me think, my system seems to be pretty stable now, I'm satisfied with my partition setup, and have virus protection. Let me think about what I'd put up. I'd probably create something. Let me get back to you on this. :)

Digital Blasphemy is good, i find most of their 'free' pics spun out more than anything... I can't be botherd paying for the members area. I'm pretty sure they charge you anyway. I might have to go check. :cool:

And... though many of you might not believe it... it's not a fish!

Instead, it's a background I made by myself, using Bryce 4, and I think Photoshop 5.5 to touch it up a bit (only raising gamma and changing curves and stuff) This desktop was for my wizard on everquest (his name is Tephrox Veneficus)

edit: Oh, and for those of you wondering, if you want to use it yourself... I kinda accidentally deleted the original photoshop file, so I can't edit the name out very easily. If anyone actually wants it, just post here and i'll re-render the picture without the name in there =P

Whee! It's another of my desktops and this one I can't take credit for completely (or much at all) because it's a screenshot from EverQuest, and all I did was make the little beetle thing all rainbow-ey (it was boring and tan before) so well here it is. (Isn't the little beetle guy so cute?)

Although it looks nothing like the other two pictures of the Hi-Fli guitar f/x processor, that is, in fact, what I'm led to believe. However, I'm hardly the specialist in old equipment like this. If anyone recognizes it and it's not a Hi-Fli, let me know.

My desktop inflates the image instead of tiles it. I recommend that display.

I've got a pretty evil looking RTCW wallpaper. I'm now tempted to use the same as Pine_net. It looks pretty sweet. If I havn't got the RTCW one, I usually have a Rammstein one on instead. How very German of me.

Glad you enjoy it :) I'm a fan of his art. I love the way he depicts the facial expressions on some women.
Some other good artists you might want to look up are Michael Whelan, Clyde Caldwell, Larry Elmore, Keith Parkinson, Chris Achilleos, etc.

I am a collector of silent weapons but I also like things that go BOOM!. So this is mine. I use a prog called Wallmaster to size the images to fit my monitor without distorting them.

If you look close, you can get an idea of the size of this by the tire tracks in the foreground.
