I'm excited about my new project. I'll be determining the genetic makeup of the remaining populations of the endangered lily, chamaelirium luteum. There are four, yes FOUR.

WOW! You got a grant to do research? Congratulations ;) That's what all of the univ. is for. Now you can enjoy the fruits of your labour...in the form of labour :p

oh poo i'm well aware that the writing ruins the process but i'm happy for now.

yes! i have money to work! the professor i'm working under got a 1.5 mil grant to protect a big ol piece of wetland and my work should (i hope) support that construction on the outer rims of the area should be resticted/banned. i get to wear a lab coat and save the earth?? things couldn't get any better.
