Yes, i do have an xbox. I remember when it first came out, i didn't really like the idea that microsoft was trying to make it in the console business. I felt like they were trying to monopolize the console industry. I thought that if they did release the xbox that they would fail within a couple of years. There aren't that many users for the xbox, albeit more than the gamecube. The only reason i see xbox staying in the console business is due to microsoft backing. I believe the xbox does have some good games for it, but none that would make it truly a great system. Halo, yeah, but besides taht what?? I try to take each system by itself. I do have all 3 major consoles, ps2,xbox, and gc. I also do'nt like the fact that the xbox needs a $30 peripheral to operate the dvd feature that the xbox has. I don't neet that thought, since my family owns a dvd player and the ps2 can also act as a dvd player. Another pet peeve i have abou tthe xbox is teh regular controller that they first made. It is bulky. Some people say i just have smaller hands. Well, even if that is true, if i had big hands i still wouldn't like it because the buttons are horribly placed. Not to mention that they're oval shaped, unliek the conventional round shape. I much prefer controller S by microsoft. It is better proportioned and i feel it is more ergonomic than the first one. I really don't think the xbox will survive unless they can get some killer apps. and there just simply isn't enough for the xbox at this point in time.

I bought an x box a few months ago. I'm very happy with it. I have Halo and the Two Towers, and the controller suits me fine. I play the PS2 at my friend's house, and I gotta say, the x box's graphics are better. I wish I could play dvds on it without the peripheral, that is really stupid. It's cool how you don't need a memory card and how you can burn cds onto its hard drive.

I have a gamecube and I've found it very enjoyable. Its small, compact, and oh so very light.

Ps2 also a very good system

I have a ps2 but i'll admit i have been using it as a dvd player lately (can't afford games and i really suck at them). I would like a gamecube mainly because of Zelda and a x-box mainly because of the graphics. All three systems have their strenghts....but i do agree that you shouldn't have to spend 30 dollars on a remote to watch movies. It's a just a cheap way to make more money. I remember Microsoft's response to that move " The dvd player function will only work through a separate remote. We do not want the x-box to play dvds right out of the box because we want people to think of X-box as more than a dvd player. Playstation 2 can do that and in Japan it is being used a dvd player rather than a game system". Yeah okkkk......

The PS2 has a wide selection of game, and more first and third party publishers for it. Games make the console.

And yeah, the first Xbox controller was atrocious. What the hell was Microsoft thinking? It's the size of like... a Dreamcast... jeeze....
