I've heard that we must drink 1,000 gallons of water for every pound of food we eat. Is that true? :confused:

I dont know if it is true, but a vast majority of the water we get is through food. The food we eat is so dense in water that it is usually not a concern to drink ungodly amounts of water outside the food.

Once all the water is taken away from the food, the food would weigh so little that your statistic would not surprise me much.
