I know quite a few people who don't have credit cards. Also - what if you don't want to use PayPal? Is there a another way of getting the money to you or is PayPal the only way? Thor 11-18-02, 11:07 AM I don't think I trust Paypal, I only learnt of it a couple of weeks ago and I'm still on the fence on whether to risk it. I know its only a small amount. I'll open my NUS e-wallet, maybe I can get some moola your way Rock On Thor goofyfish 11-18-02, 11:25 AM If it helps your comfort level, I have used PayPal for several years now for transactions from $5.75 to $650.00, including payment here, with no trouble. They were even quick to stop a charge when I mage the error and used the wrong credit card. Peace. EvilPoet 11-18-02, 11:27 AM I had a bad experience with PayPal so I don't trust them. That is why I asked. :) wet1 11-18-02, 11:41 AM I send by mail. The cost in postage is 60¢ from the US. You may use personal check, certified check, or money order. Porfiry's address for receiving is as follows: David Watanabe 1529 West Pender, Suite 1504 Vancouver, BC, Canada V6G 3J3 Thor 11-18-02, 12:02 PM I'm still not sure about Paypal, I'll go into my Student Union Office and see if I can put money into my NUS Wallet and send some moola Dave's way EvilPoet 11-18-02, 12:26 PM I put off making a donation (now called subscriptions) because at first I thought PayPal was the only way to pay. I was very glad to see I could also mail it (which I did on Sat. 60¢? Yikes! messed up on the amount of postage). I was a bit confused by the new post (Avatars, Signatures & User Titles) as there was no mailing address. Glad to know that mail is still a viable option for payment. :D Porfiry 11-18-02, 12:58 PM PayPal is definitely preferred, because it's easier for me to manage. I'm fairly certain you don't need a PayPal account to pay via credit card. Even so, the only problems with PayPal I've heard of are people whose accounts have been terminated with large amounts of cash in them. If you're just sending money, it's not an issue. But, of course, I won't turn down cash. Take care, Dave Bachus 11-18-02, 05:03 PM Originally posted by wet1 I send by mail. The cost in postage is 60¢ from the US.
