Move to Computer Science do da area...

I'm assuming this is like the system restore in XP...and I have no idea of how to delete those other than disabling the feature.

That's the only way I know of too. Turn off system restore, and then restart it if you want it.

Upgrade to XP or start from scratch

The quickest way to show you how to do it is using this link:
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPOR...2001012513122239?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam

Once thats done you should be able to delete the _RESTORE folder (unless of course you need a regkey to be changed, which you'll find info on halfway down this link:
    http://arstechnica.com/ask-ars/2001/ask-01302001.html

(Simply once you have told _RESTORE not to use Microsofts method of blocking alterations by the User, and rebooted to set it to allow you to access _RESTORE. Open up a DOS/Command prompt and delete:
    C:/_RESTORE
You won't be able to see it, but you can sure as heck delete it. As mentioned on the last link, you can restart RESTORE functions if you like turning it back on, however its not actually necessary (And it saves alot of harddrive space by not doing so)

Why are you still on ME in the first place?

I used ME for one year and just couldn't put up with it's crap. Even Windows 95 is better that it!

The viruses will be deleted when you delete the _Restore folder.
