View Full Version : why steal ?
Futurist 09-29-02, 02:29 AM the boxer Ali's daughter was caught stealing in shop.
why rich people also want to steal?
what is the English word to describe this habit?
:p
Kleptomania.
I'd call her a bored rich brat, but, meh....
Futurist 09-29-02, 02:48 AM i see,
why they do so?
For kleptomaniacs, they enjoy the fear of getting caught. It is like you or I might skydive or go on a rollercoaster or play chicken...only they steal. *Shrugs*
Or maybe she just wanted attention.
Futurist 09-29-02, 03:22 AM did you steal before?
Captain_Crunch 09-29-02, 05:57 PM my ex-best freind is a kleptomaniac. it sucks, he stole of me. they cant help but steal. :(
It's pretty pathetic when you steal from friends. I don't believe Klepto is a disease. It should be called the "I'm stupid and craving attention from people for being sneaky and cool syndrome". The term kleptomaniac is an excuse to do what they do.
Captain_Crunch 09-29-02, 06:07 PM u notice 'ex-best freind', Kleptomania wasnt an excuse for him.
Yeah who needs friends like that. I'm kinda going through the same thing right now. I'm thinking of making this person an "ex-best friend" as well. Grrr
Captain_Crunch 09-29-02, 06:12 PM my advice to anyone that has a freind that steal off of them is: get rid of them, if they do it once, they would do it again.
NightFall 09-29-02, 10:58 PM some people do it as a challenge to themselves, with high risks, if they could really do it.
Futurist 09-29-02, 11:04 PM according to islamic laws, stealing deserves chopping of hands.
adultery deserves stoning to death.

Kleptomania is a desease that is peculiar in that it is an affliction
upon only the rich. When poor people steal, they are shoplifters.
Captain_Crunch 09-30-02, 01:44 PM yes, quite. but i do believe, and will be corrected, it is just down to terminology. poor people can be a kleptomaniac too, but it is not so obvious, its as if they have an excuse to steal because they are not rich.
Futurist 10-01-02, 08:49 AM steal from the rich and give it to the poor, is it OK? :D

Nope, just because someone has more doesn't give another person the right to take some.
NightFall 10-01-02, 10:09 AM depends if the rich is mean and ungrateful. lol
Captain_Crunch 10-01-02, 10:19 AM steal from the rich and give it to the poor, is it OK?
nup, now take from the rich and give to the poor is ok ;)
NightFall 10-01-02, 10:39 AM i watched a show, where they followed this begger guy aroiund own with his little cup for change, and his ragged clothes, collecting money all day, then in the after noon, he took his big garbage bag into a port-a-potty, changed his clothes, and left in his brand new black suburban. I guess the guy made about 20 or so dollars per hour as a beggar, and that was all he did, and he got quite a bit of money doing it.
..makes ya think twice before ya put the moeny in the cup next time.
Captain_Crunch 10-01-02, 10:43 AM i never give to beggers:eek:
machaon 10-02-02, 12:41 AM I understand. I once broke into the pentagon and stole the nuclear launch codes for 85 percent of North American missile silos. The encryption was tough, but hey, I had the time. Anyway, I returned them and there were no hard feelings. Since then I have not stolen anything.........
