first topic I start about girls I hope it is the last what I do not totally understand about them is why most do not want to simply hang out. You know, go out to parties, concerts, make love - but nothing deeper. No - "I love you" or "yes - I want to stay with you forever" and such crap. Most of them want long term relations and not to have a good time together, most of them want real and strong emotions and not have some fun together. My point exactly Av - I don't really want a "girlfriend" or some stringy relationship really, just want some chick to hang out with and to talk to and do stuff with. i would half agree with avatar and say to girls: what better way to get to know someone than spending time with them. It doesnt matter what its doing cos at least your together and get to see different sides of the other person. Just 'hang out'! Thats what id say. Besides a lot of stuff to get to know someone can be pretentious. What is the poing of going to see a film when you cant converse with each other (without annoying the other people). What is the point of going to see some big musical/show because (guess what!) you wont get to know that much about the other person. Just spending time together is the most important thing. You get to see loads about a person that way: what they like/dont like, how much consideration they give to prices or what they thing about brand names etc I would say 'hanging out' is best.
Man! You guys are naive. Yes girls want long term relationships, but keep in mind that they can dump you anytime. Sometimes things seem to be going so well, but all in a sudden she wants to break up with you. Long term relationship Translation: I am possessive. I want you to see no one else but me until I find someone else better. Long term relationship doesn't mean anything unless you are married. If a girl wants long term relationship, just go out with her if you like her. Just keep in mind that you can make the relationship as long term or short term as you or she like.

maybe you are looking at the wrong girls. you'd probably have better luyck finding a fun-loving girl, if you look around those places instead of at school. if want a girl who likes going to concerts, look at a concert.

okay not sure what this is about, really, but I'll reply. I'm a girl (duh) and I like "I love you forever" and stuff, but understand that words do not last forever. it's like a moment on a stage together..... it's just another momentary sentiment. if you keep saying it, living it for years then it is serious. I think more naive inexperienced women probably do not have this perspective, but for me "i love you" can be perceived as casual, lasts the day long, maybe the next morning but that's it, really. so it's no more than a gesture.... but god bless the honest folk.
