    I like actionRPGs.
The action elements keeps me stay quick while learning strategy at the same time.
While the RPG elements gives the 'I learned more' feeling; in RPGs, it's hard to be killed by weak opponents once you're tough enough to fight the final boss, right?
    It makes a good combination.

I love RPGs, UO, Ultima series, Diablo, Fallout series. Great games. My favourite shooter is the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942. I love the Sims for designing houses, can't stand to play the game.

1ps and 3ps, I need a game were I can kill people, aliens, mosters, ect and blow things up for hours on end from the second I start no stop! I like strategy games second, I love games were I can make armies and send them of in massive wars, Homeworld and ground control were great. I hate RPGs it’s like reading a bad Sci-Fi or fantasy novel to me, were the constant killing? I think you should make a new thread with a poll put up some of the categorize people mention here.

RPG's all the way. Games like the Final Fantasy's, XenoGears, Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun and Golden Sun Lost Age. I love all RPG's. The sencod favorite are stratagy games....you know like Homeworld and Age of Empires.

But, one of my favorite isnt really in a catagory........Dance Dance Revolution all the way.

Strategy..for sure. But I guess that sometimes crosses the line into simulation strategy.

I don't know why, but I went out and bought simcity 4 (after patch two,) and love it. Haven't played it much, but there will be at least three expansion - as with 'the sims' - and the strategic side gets a boost.

*RPG's don't really get me excited.

*I like playing the occasional FPS, but it's soooo redundant.

*Sports are best played on the field - except for most fighting games.

Unreal 1 & 2; Freelancer; Wheel of Time; Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I used to love Silent Hunter but cannot play it on modern machines apparently. I wish Mindscape would make a revitalised version for modern machines. If anyone out there has SH commanders Edition, I will gladly buy it from you? 688 Attack Sub was another I enjoyed. First person in the main. Just been given Pirates of The Caribbean, but still trying to figure out how to sword fight! The controls are naff to say the least.
