here is what needs to happen. we need to get a strong liberal controlled government to counter the uber conservative swing the bush government put on politics and then a almost even split between liberal and conservative. say 50.5% liberal and 49.5% conservative. than maybe just maybe the usa can regain some of its lost status and be able to do the shit a government needs to do

Actually having a diversity in Congress would be a good thing! The more they aren't alike the better off we all are going to be.

IMO, I agree with cosmic. A strong leader will be able to unite people , no matter how different they are. So if congress is different, we are more likely to find stronger leaders.

They will RAISE taxes, give free healthcare while taxing the "have mores" to pay for it, let the criminal aliens stay, ignore terrorists, and turn this country into a nightmare. did you even pay attention to my reasoning. we need some strong lib control to get back into the center and than we need SPLIT control with a lot of diversity. one subsect of one party in total control is terrible no matter what they are. we are to off center to the right which is the only reason i am advocating a period of total liberal control. i have always been in favor of a government with lots of different viewpoints because it allows the government to get the best spectrum of ideas.
