now everyone knows there are corupt police but when you look at the services as a whole across all countries the police seem to be much more resistant to the wide scale abuses which seem to follow millary units of all persuasions. This is evident even to the point where it was FBI offices who were reporting abuses at gitmo rather than the solders guarding them and interogating them. So what is it about police selection and training which seems to protect them from comiting these sorts of abuses compared to the armies
