what is meant by sticky thread?

    i am new these forums. I dont know if this is right place to post, but i would like to know what is sticky thread?.

    it means that it "sticks" to the top of the forum.

    when you create threads it is created on top of everyone elses. as more threads get created the oldest gets pushed down and eventually they are 7 or 8 pages down. a sticky thread stays on top no matter how old it is.
