hey sciforum community im comming to you today in a very sad mood. My grandma who was like a mother to me passed away yesterday. there is so many things That i wish i could have said and told her but i didnt. about 15 minunites after i heard that news, i got word that my best friend got hit by an 18 wheeler and is now in a coma.. Just wanted to remind everyone that we never know when our time is up.. so look at your lives and try to live each day as if it is your last. you never know when your ticket will be called. Tell your family and loved ones that you love them every day.. because truth be told tomorrow you may not get the chance.
Ugh...I don't like telling people I love them. It feels a bit like spilling my insides.. Can't I just give them a cookie?

On a more serious moment... Each moment passes. There is no True Present since it's gone like a line on the highway an instant later. All we are, all we have is the memory. There is much more to communication than spoken words. When a person dies, they leave the legacy of those memories. ALL of them. The good and the bad. We are long accustomed to remembering what we wish to. Celebrate the gift of memory. If you want to check out on a good note, ensure daily that you try to leave as many good memories behind to those you care about as you can. It's not about saying words, it's about fulfilling them.
Sorry for your loss, Scifreak, and hope your friend is ok. If today was my last day I would not go to work, would call my dearest friends/family and tell them I love them, sign off of the few internet sites I frequent, then get down on my knees and start praising Jesus. I remember this website called cracked had a picture contest of what people would do on their last day. It was funny as hell, but the winner showed the reflection of the earth through the visor of an astronaut during an EVA. You could see the reflection of his hands and in his hands was a bowl of popcorn. If in a space suit and holding the bowl... How would he eat the popcorn? He really should have contacted NASA first, to design a more effective zea mays delivery system.
UPDATE: found out that he tore the membrane around his brain. leaking the fluid they say when he wakes up he might not remember what happend that day or he could have to re learn how to walk talk and function
. if it was my last day, i'll just live it as anyother day, what's the use of having fun in the last day of life, i'm going to die anyway, it wan't make a difference (maybe clear things up)
