my username was on radioactive waves, and i posted nothing worse than anything else i saw.... yet, i have no rights now. what is going on? i had to create a new name just to contact someone here. i wish whoever is responsible for would reconsider their actions..... but if not... then a revior i guess. cencorred my other post too. geez thats a little harsh. it wasn't out of context to the post. i guess you guys are too good for me so everyone can just see this post before it gets erased as well angry member
You'll have to explain exactly what happened to Porfiry Put the handle your having problems with, and any login info you can remember. (In fact you should be able to use the "Forgot password" button to get your password resent to you.) If someone has gained control of your Handle, then Porfiry will be able to look through the IP numbers of who accessed your handle and tally it with another member if it's truly the case. More likely you placed "remember password" with "cookies" and when you exited your browser it left it in the memory, so someone else could just come along and type in sciforums (Or autocomplete, or just look in the address bar) and bypass the password, then they have control over your account. (This is the main way that certain web e-mail sites get hacked) Just Message Porfiry.
no, i think a mod silenced me thanks i'll try that. no one else uses this computer, so i think i had al my voices taken away because i said $hit in another forum talking anout marijuana and my post got erased in there.... and i cant do anything on the other name... not evev private message... and nothing i said was any worse than anything bad i read in other posts, so what gives? new folks have to folow the rules exactly and senior folks can bend the rules?
I think Stryder has the right idea. Private message Porfiry, ask him. He might be slow to answer you, since he probably gets lots of messages.
