Pumpkinsaren'torange, I do not recall seeing Wet1, or anybody else here, from the mods, on your case. Never have I seen a post by one of them which was directed to you personally.

Only thing I have seen happening, is that since yesterday a few threads have been closed. One of those threads, posted by you, was in pseudoscience and closed by me.

In fact I was the first one to close a thread yesterday. I cannot help it that it was you who started it.

It would've been closed anyway, no matter which poster started or participated in it.

This goes for the other threads as well.

ive gotten kinda used to it. Now and again i post a contravertial post or thread to get attention, it usually works.

think of it like this, if you want to play dominoes, would you go to the chess club? what kind of a reception do you think you would get there?
even the free thoughts forum (random ideas, thoughts, trivialities) doesnt mean anything goes. it is a place to post stuff that doesnt quite fit into the other forums or cannot be easily categorized. it is really weird to see a forum being used as a chat program. that is a very inefficient way of communicating

I saw your thread when you initially posted. Hopefully by now I have enough skin that when someone thinks that they have been unfairly singled out and complains that it doesn't bother me.

I have no issues with you as a member. You have never, ever, recieved a pm from me about your behaviour or your posts. Such things, normally I do not put out into public laundry unless there is no choice. I also, have not addressed you in any single post or thread as having a problem with you. As a member of sciforums you are in good standing and I have no axe to grind against you. I would suggest that maybe you might be a trifle sensitive to this as there is nothing on my end that I feel is a problem with you.

The issue was not you as a poster, the issue was the direction and the subject of the thread.

If being sheep is following the rules, are you saying that you did not mean what you agreed to when registering for sciforums? I have no issue with free thinking. I don't always agree with every post I read. That doesn't mean that threads are closed left and right because of it. I certainly have no intention of closing this one unless it should violate the rules or intention of the rules.
