Just because Water is the main source to survive for every living species on Earth, I guess it's not that doubtful.

I'm going to replicate this experiment and will post my findings here.

Err, pure water always form some nice looking crystal in subzero temperature. If the water if not pure, the crystal is deformed due to other salts in water. But the pictures don't look like at the same level of magnification. It's more like comparing a water crystal to an ice cube surface.

Maybe is the "Wish You Were Here" album a better choice to bring back harmony in the water crystals...
