That would assume that you have fast CF cards, so that the direct recording doesn't studder. It might be better to record the videos on the computer, and then dump manually shrunk and compressed files onto the PDA. Xerxes 06-17-05, 12:21 PM I don't want to say its impossible, but playback is going to be difficult. thecollage 06-19-05, 02:41 PM what if it is transferred to a computer and then burned to DVD? thecollage 06-22-05, 08:45 PM well? TheMidnight12AM 06-22-05, 10:56 PM Here is how you do it: 1) Obtain a video capture card (or a DVD recorder). A good, cheap one is the ATI TV Wonder. 2)Connect your cable co-ax to the co-ax connector on the TV card. Record the video as an MPEG. 3) Obtain a flash card large enough to hold a movie (128MB+, the bigger the better). 4) Run Windows Movie Maker. Import the movie you recorded and export the movie (File Menu). Under the file type on the selection screen, export it to one of the Pocket PC formats. 5) Depending on PC speed, this make take a few minutes to several hours. Ensure the stated file size on the dialog box is less than your card's capacity. 6) Synchronize the movie with your flash card...and use a media player to watch! |
