View Full Version : using proxy servers for anonimity
tablariddim 05-26-08, 06:42 AM Say I live in country A and I wish to play online gambling located in country B but I use my own private proxy server located in country C (played from country A); will the casino think the player is in country A, or country C?
tablariddim 05-26-08, 07:21 AM So, are you like, into online gambling then Tabs?
tablariddim 05-26-08, 07:30 AM Absolutely not. However, I was intrigued by a simulated roulette game that I have been playing for a couple of weeks and I stumbled upon my own system that gives me cosistent winnings so I want to try it for real, trouble is, online gambling is illegal in my country.I'm actually dying to try it for real because yesterday, I won 18 out of 20 games in about 90 minutes showing a net profit of $6500; imagine doing that every day!
tablariddim 05-26-08, 07:32 AM Wow...you're saying that you could make $45K a week, just playing less than 2 hours a day?
tablariddim 05-26-08, 07:36 AM Absolutely. The way I see it, everything is a gamble, from stocks to forex to property investment. The way not to lose your shirt with my system is to keep to your strategy, don't get greedy and bail out of a game soon as you notice it's not going well, minimising your losses.
tablariddim 05-26-08, 07:38 AM But everybody has 'a system'; nobody can really beat a casino though, or can they?
Spud Emperor 05-26-08, 07:38 AM Alias Tablariddim.
Shit Tabs, you're right!
Shit Tabs you're wrong! etc.
C'mon dude, you've got a good life, just keep your money, buy your cigarettes and booze and be happy.
tablariddim 05-26-08, 07:43 AM I don't intend to 'beat' the casino, I'm just saying that I have system that seems to work consistently. I bail out when my winnings go anything over $200 and start a new game immediately. It's dead simple, my system gives me almost a 70% chance to win 3 times my stake, that's 7 out of 10. So far, I've achieved 90% wins!
Spud Emperor 05-26-08, 07:46 AM They'll be a glitch in your system.
Be very careful, work it through.
Play within your means and if it works out for real, deal me in.

I'm looking at this from a very scientific perspective, I hate gambling but I love money!
The only thing that bothers me is that their real software may follow my stakes and minimise my chances of winning but it's worth investing a grand to see what happens.
Spud Emperor 05-26-08, 07:49 AM Yeah, if you can swallow the loss of a grand, then go for it.
1k doesn't seem like it would be enough for a decent sample trial.
Stryder 05-26-08, 01:14 PM you do realise that if you haven't been paying with real stakes, then it's likely their "random code" is a little more than generous in your favour. This is purposeful and one of the reason that gambling sites are illegal in some countries. They are made to be much like the adverts you see online from time to tie to claim that you've won a car or can win one by clicking, or emails from Nigerian Princesses that are currently in need of somewhere to deposit their tyrannical uncles hard earned cash.
simply, It's a Scam and don't fall for it. If you want to play your system, go to a real licensed casino and play it on a roulette table, you might notice your system isn't so generous.
As for proxying, it is possible to use a proxy to access such sites, however it wouldn't be those sites breaking the law but yourself. How would you go about justifying your winnings in regards to taxation. (after all you might pay tax on your bet in the country you are playing in, but back at home they will all be too ready to claim not just unpaid taxes but fines too)

That is of course the best way to check it out.
As far as taxation goes what I can do for example is to buy a flat in Brazil automatically gaining Brazilian residency (in addition to my own) and even full citizenship (in addition to my 2 existing citizenships) after 4 years and I won't even have to live there...sounds perfect. Winnings from gambling are actually tax free in many countries.
