Anyone out there have a free downloadable undelete program to retrieve files from the hard drive?

I have office XP home and need to get a picture folder that was deleted by mistake.

99 times out of 100 that i ise it, i do so for backups
i also spend a fair amount of time backing up my files

do you know about the Recycle Bin? check that first.

if you've saved a lot of files since you deleted the picture folder, there's a low chance you'll get back all the pictures.

if you've defragmented your harddrive since you deleted the folder, you probably have 0% chance of recovering it.

if you have low disk space on the drive the deleted folder was on, you have a low chance of recovering the files without them being corrupted.
