Hello
Okay, I actually hope that this thread would be replied by the very genious minds of sciforums. I actually want to know if you were to make a problem for a Scientific Olympiads (which means Math Olympiad, Physics Olimpiad etc etc), what would you make?
POst any brain-breaking problems to make this thread nice, please...
Thanks
PS: I myself can't think of any, here are just some bits of rather unwitty question I have.....
1) Show that for a multi-digit number, if the sum of the numbers that make up the multi-digit number is divisible by 3, it is also divisible by 3.
(I mean like, e.g, 10-digit number X=abcdefghij which means X=1010a + 109b + ... + 10i + j , if a+b+c+d+....+j is divisible by 3, X is too)
Also, to those who paid attention to the annual Sci Olympiads much, I wonder if the rumor about a 'crazy' question im Math Olympiad about proving 1+1=2 is true......
