Post your favourtie philosophy quote. Basic stuff, so lets try not to get off topic.

Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime.

    Aristotle

Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.

    Plato

Bodily exercise, when compulsory, does no harm to the body; but knowledge which is acquired under compulsion obtains no hold on the mind.

    Plato, The Republic

Evil is a point of view. God kills indiscriminately and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves.

I do not see how this is off topic. You're simply asking if he has any favourite quotes from a woman. I see nothing wrong with this. Women have great quotes.

    Anne Frank:

Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.

    Only the shallow know themselves.

There is a grandeur in this view of life...-Darwin
Stupiditiy is beyond my level of understanding-me

Two favorite quotes of Helen Keller

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart.

There is no king who has not had a slave among his ancestors, and no slave who has not had a king among his.
