Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch. However I do not define it as a sacred text, just a book that tells my truth.

    Mine:

    Proverbs 26
4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
or you will be like him yourself.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly,
or he will be wise in his own eyes.

Those of you that posted links to sites dedicated to Holy Books like the Quran etc. Could you tell us your favorite part of it? Something like a creationmyth or a story.

The Enuma Elish is the story how Marduk defeated Tiamat - The Dragon of Chaos - and became the lord of the Gods and the universe.

The reason why I havent posted for long is because of sickness (throatfever

    Yo,

I think this text is great for teflection. I will just paste a excerpt.

    The Thunder, Perfect Mind

I was sent forth from the power,

and I have come to those who reflect upon me,
and I have been found among those who seek after me.
Look upon me, you who reflect upon me,
    and you hearers, hear me.
You who are waiting for me, take me to yourselves.
And do not banish me from your sight.
And do not make your voice hate me, nor your hearing.
Do not be ignorant of me anywhere or any time. Be on your guard!
Do not be ignorant of me.

    Brilliant!!

    As for the question...
I haven't finished reading them yet, but I am growing rather fond of The Vedas.

The Teaching of Buddha is an excellent book.
