But my log on account to windows XP IS an administrators account.

Thats it... I'm buying a Mac.

I keep my computer so organized and backed up that a.) it runs really fast with no problems and b.) I can do a fresh install every now and then to wipe out any bugs.

A fresh install is always a good idea.

Same problem

I am having the exact same problem. Was the problem fixed by formatting, or was there another way?

I just go to the "way back " machine! The one where you go to "system restore" and pick a date about 2 weeks ago or anytime befor the problem started. ;)

In all honest you don't need to reformat your computer if you have an error like what's mentioned in this thread.

Sometimes executables have to be right clicked and 'Run as Administrator', other times there might be a bit more monkeying around to get it working.

Anybody has installed Silverlight yet? Mine computer is still on Win2000 Prof. So I can not install it even though I have sharepoint.MS site says it is coming for W2K.
