keeping people out based on religion wouldn't be against international law?
under what she said someone who say committed a crime wouldn't allowed back into the country from traveling abroad. a violation of the freedom of movement.
Maybe instead of accusing me of making shit up you could try thinking and doing research.

also like the hypocrisy you accuse me of making shit up when I wasn't and than make up shit about my argument congrats up to your usual level of honesty and ethics. No where did I say background checks were against international law.

My country will look like this:

All political parties will be immediately abolished.

I would make the whole government in unity, ie a politburo of ten people, at the very top of the government. It is kept in check by a rigid bureaucratic system of legal tests, judicial tests, personality tests, and "apprenticeships" of aspiring gov't officials.

The highest level of public non-restrictive elections are done on a state or province-wide basis. The government rules primarily due to popular ratings; all people have the right to recall up to state or province-level government officials.

The central government is elected through restricted elections, meaning that selected citizens who pass a civics test and/or other criteria and local public officials are allowed to vote. All people are allowed to run for any office (including the politburo!), but the higher up you go, the fewer people are allowed to actually vote for (or against) you.

The central government reserves the right to dictate the police and military forces.

Freedom of speech, press, etc. is protected.

The central government will run the entire country. The tax rate will be about 60%, with the remaining 40% for spending.

The markets will be semi-free; you can start your own business and afford health insurance, but you cannot grow so large to bloat salaries and above a certain size, you are forbidden to lay off workers and must pay increasing proportions of profits to the central gov't.

Police will be ubiquitous. They will reserve the right to search and seizure at any time on all property. All guns and dangerous weapons in the possession of citizens are banned (ie, no right to bear arms).

All property belongs to the government. They will split it up for each registered individual, or a family unit, to be used and exercised practically like a private lot.

The freedom of education is protected. Thus, all schools, from kindergarten to doctoral studies, are free.

The right to healthcare is protected. All private insurance entities of any known type are abolished.

The right to transportation is protected. The railroads will be nationalized completely, with private operators forbidden by law. An independent, national, right-of-way network for bicycles will be established, also with private owners forbidden. The roads will be partly nationalized, partly privatized. The airlines are completely privatized, including infrastructure costs.

You are entitled to your opinions, so by freedom of speech, my country's police forces wouldn't go after you.

Oh yeah, half of all police forces in the country are secret police.

You did make stuff up. You claimed. . . oh wait. I'll just quote you: "also your country would violate international law the whole freedom of movement thing"

So, please tell me WHAT international law covers freedom of movement that would prevent the USA from preventing criminals from entering? Also, while you're at it, tell me how the wiki article you posted talks about "freedom of movement" being a concept and not a right that the USA has to honor (on an international level)? Also, if you can, clue me in as to what I made up? You mean the part how you blatantly lied, and now accuse me of bias--you know, the mod who's banned more people for insulting you than any other mod--for pointing out the fact that make stuff up as you go along.

I didn't ask for you to tell me about a legal concept. I asked for the international laws that covers freedom of movement, to which the USA is a signatory?

I didn't make shit up. You did. You inferred that international law prevented the USA from restricting certain people--specifically criminals--from entering.

pjdude, where your argument falls apart is that it is about the citizen of the state, that is who has freedom of movement: (and now these are very important words):

with proper documentation, return to that state at any time; and also (of equal or greater importance) to travel to, reside in, and/or work in, any part of the state the citizen wishes without interference from the state.

proper documentation, and legal citizenship, not undocumented and illegal aliens.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_movement

Freedom of movement, mobility rights or the right to travel is a human rights concept which is respected in the constitutions of numerous states. It asserts that a citizen of a state, in which that citizen is present, generally has the right to leave that state, travel wherever the citizen is welcome, and, with proper documentation, return to that state at any time; and also (of equal or greater importance) to travel to, reside in, and/or work in, any part of the state the citizen wishes without interference from the state. Some immigrants' rights advocates assert that human beings have a fundamental human right to mobility not only across states but across nations. Ray Ybarra, an immigrants rights activist and filmmaker, coined the concept of human mobility to apply to international freedom of movement. According to Ybarra, human mobility is a fundamental human right.

Democracy of course, with a little bit of socialism toward certain big sectors. and i would so have my currency based on an gold standard.

Free health care to all, with a minor income tax to pay for it, still much cheaper then the average insurance premiums.

State run automotive none profit insurance, When i was 16 my insurance rate was 600 a year no mater what i was driving, and everyone paid the same rates, this included full coverage, with no deductibles, under the Saskatchewan system, every where there was none government coverage. my premium for the same coverage was 2 k plus.

there would be no sales tax, or goods tax, but there would be an income tax, to cover expenses.(any citizen making under 20 k a year would be exempt from these taxes).

oh and there would be a minor fuel tax, just to help cover road and highway maintenance, and Government would be kept to basic size, it's not fair that so much tax dollars go to wards paying governments bloated salaries.
Actually there would be a minor sales tax, on all none essential items, to help finance millitary, and police.

I wouldn't run it, I'd create the world's first benevolent dictator in the form of a hyper intelligent A.I. Get that to figure out the best possible form of government, and empower it to act as head of state, federal government and local government. Can't see any fault with that.

I don't think I am up for it either. I'd probably chose to be a figurehead and let someone else run it.
