In that case the Red Cross might also consider not giving western blood to islamic people, the blood might be contaminated with cristian believes and pork meat residu.

Oh yes, I allmost forget about the so-called "international coalition" against Iraq that needs to be forged. The red-cross like the UN is a worldwide organisation, in some countries where they don't like cristian ideas , such as Iran, they must operate as the Red Moon and Star, so it is not surprisingly that The BRITISH government is passing honey to the other arab countries because they have got a dirty war scheduled for mid february.

We must at least keep appearances that we are just acting upon international request for the sake of pece, MERRY CRISTMASS Y'ALL

Good post Vortexx. I didnt think Christians had any real persecution anywhere to worry about. Without a Christan army they could be exterminatated so the peace that is procreated is worthless without the freedom to express peace. It is violents who not only create the lack of peace by their actions but also deny others the chance for peace. Incidently Vortexx:
    ?? Is it?

Anyone remember the Red Cross/Australia spy scandal from a few years ago? Aussies working for the Red Cross were busted spying all over the place.

No Adam. Were they actually spying though: you know about those plane spotters right?

Nah, these Aussies were spying on everyone. They were arrested, released after some political wrangling, and sent back here. Keep an eye on any Australians in your country doing any "aid" work or whatever, or those on UN business. Most of them are sneaky bastards.

I think Christmas is more for the kids nowadays rather than believe in any religion.
Some Muslim owned shops in places have christmas decorations up, it doesnt seem to bother them.

I was at Bob Evans today (working) and some customers walked up and were debating how they could say "Happy Holidays" to an athiest.

I just told them to tell everyone they saw to "Have a good day"

red cross, red cresent (because the cross has significance only for westeners) and i THINK there is actully a third but im not sure

they r one international organisation and they have a reponcability to STAY OUT OF ANY INTERNATIONAL DISPUTES

Actually, I think you're right, it may have been Care Australia. But really, Australians are always doing such things, no matter who they are working for.

    Really?

    christmas..... bah humbug.......

Commercialised rubbish that creates stress and chaos... my mind says it is beneficial for some, my heart desperately wishes it never came into being.

Asguard, I want to thank you for giving a damn in these tough times that according to the rest are "joyful".

life is normal because its "christmas"... As you get older, shed your immaturity and grow, you will see the true meaning of Christmas.... for huge companies to make a profit...

While most people find Christmas a time of Joy, a chance to indulge in Childish fantasies that can for a day fill their pathetic and unimportant lives. Not religion, morals or lifestyle can fill that gap permenantly, while this holiday can fill it for a day....

Plus, it brings many people joy, especially the kids....

So to comment on the issue at hand, Christmas, while being an idealistic and pathetically naive attempt to put away reality, does help those who can heed its call.

P.S Asguard, I would rather be with you to tell the truth.....

I would do ANYTHING to be somewhere else, thats for sure, but many people enjoy Christmas.... I just might take your offer up sometime.......

I tend to think the true meaning of christmas, new year's, or any other such occasion is that it's a nice time to hang out with your family, wife, girlfriend, or whatever, and do nice things for them.

Christmas is about fun. If you cant understand that then dont celebrate it. If you say that its impossible to not celebrate it because its so widespread then shoot yourself, thats why the suicide rate is so high this time of year.
