My name is Xen, I run the website Xenex (http://www.xenex.org). Aside from writing several columns on that site and editing the others, I am seventy pages into my first novel of what promises to be a series. This first novel is Deaths Worse Than Fate and I am publishing (and revising) it in installments at http://www.xenex.org/fates.htm I had gotten some good press about it when I started the project, but that waned ones I took a month-long sabbatical to restructure the story in a way that would allow me to continue. My readership has yet to pick up. Nonetheless, I soldier on, if only to appease my father who, reading the story for the first time, yelled at me at length for a plot turn he felt unnecessarily cruel.
