X-ray nova IGR J17497-2821

    ESA's gamma-ray observatory, INTEGRAL has discovered a new X-ray nova on the 17 September 2006 during an observation of the galactic centre region.
    The gamma-ray outburst/possible black hole was discovered by staff at the Integral Science Data Centre (ISDC), Versoix, Switzerland.
