Bread basket of the world? America? I don't think so. You don't see people fighting over Canada, and it wouldn't be too hard to wipe their pathetic army out. Nonetheless, I doubt an entire world war can come about merely by a superpower's decline.
it is more becuase the u.s has brought the idea of indpendnce aropund the world. when it fails, it is a certian phsyclogical effect. and if anything, no one wants to attack canida becuase they are part of the u.n. u.s would strick for there defence
