I can just hear a German citizen from 1942 complaining " I refuse to use the deaths of Gypsy and Jewish children to further political ideology , therefore stop it , because how many children will die if Germany pulls out of Eastern Europe ! " , your sentiments exactly .

I do agree that the whole affair has been a horrible tragedy for Iraqi, and Iraqi children in particular.

    But,
Sanctions are infinitely preferable to war. We have no obligation to trade with any nation, much less one with a record like Saddam's Iraq. Sanctions worked on Libya, now we have normalized relations with them.

I rather think it was killing Gaddafis family that had the greater impact, I doubt he cared that much about the people.

The only thing sanctions did for Iraq was to convince Saddam to turn to euros (Oil for Food) and we all know where that led.

I disagree, his nation suffered from the economic impact. The people would have turned against him eventually. The Oil for Food program was corrupted, but that did not disprove the idea that sanctions could work.

    Trite.
If you'd equalled your anti-American rhetoric with a post or two on Darfur, Sam, just as an example, I might pay more attention to you. You make your intentions clear as much by what you don't comment on as opposed to what you do. What about Indonesia, Sam? A bunch of uneducated, militant, religious children who must constantly be appeased because they cry loudly and become violent when they feel wronged.
Run for your google, now. Think of the children.

Yes, lets not discuss the thread topic, lets talk about other matters.

And I've written lots of posts on Darfur.

Brian Foley, protector of Iraqi children.

    Human Shield.

Wait. Brian Foley doesn't actually live his convictions. He lives to conflict.

And Iraqi children continue to die on his watch.

Brian Foley, true protector of Iraqi children.

No sacrifice greater than their's. Someone has to live to tell their tale.

Just not at least one of them.

Coming from someone who supports a war that is being lost and does nothing to help.

Coming from someone who doesn't support a winnable war of ideas and does everything to not help.

Sorry. I'm still not buying your pay-grade's take on reality.

Dude, I think you'd be more help on the front lines and as a financial contributer than winning the war on ideas. Americans are largely apathetic and if the war on the ground was going well no one would care about some "war on ideas".

Yes, we must speak over and over again of our own hate for another country.
    For America.

Have you? Haven't seen one, which is not to deny they exist - only to raise an eyebrow at any attempt by you to prove your concern for anything not involving America is equal in fervour.

You see, Sam, the reason for that is that it is not children, morality, genocide or wrongdoing which is of concern to you as much as who is involved. That is why you are so transparent.

You live in a nation which still, in this day and age, in this period of modern "enlightenment", supports a caste system - and recently gave orders to their police to fire on Gujjars protesting against it. Let's ignore, too that those very same Gunjarrs would probably be as savage in their treatment of other untouchables were they to be ever raised higher. Oft times the most ruthless masters are those who were once slaves themselves.
You live in a nation which recently wanted to send... what was her name? That actress who was on the UK big brother. You wanted to send her to jail because she didn't fight off an attempt by Richard Gere to kiss her on the cheek. You belong to a religion which is actively involved in violence and genocidal attempts all over the world, or, in the case of Indonesia as an example, would be - given half a chance to do so. Savage dogs chained only in their knowledge that bigger dogs prowl the neighbourhood.
And yet you barely mention them, or brush it off when anyone else attempts to.

What would you replace America with, Sam? India? Or perhaps you dream of a united world of Muslims, when I could point a finger at plenty wrong with every Muslim nation on the planet. Or at religion itself, any religion which teaches its children to be proud to be on their knees, but forget I went there. And don't dare try and tell me they wouldn't be doing the same or worse than the US is if they had the same level of power. That would be the belief of a blind fool.

Everybody hates something. Every nation wants power. Every nation would indulge in what you might term injustice if they could - and many of them do.
America is easy to hate because they're so damn good at it. America is easy to fault because everyone is looking for fault, and they'll find it... over, and over, and over again. America is easy to hate because most are able to talk about their hatred, about their disquiet, their misgivings without too much fear of reprisal - witness this cesspool. Good luck trying to live in Saudi Arabia and question the government or protest against it. Good luck living in India. Malaysia, or Indonesia. And this is one of the most difficult stupidities to stomach, that so many of these dissatisfied little children post their grievances and vitriol all over the net because they're allowed to, and don't even recognise or give respect for that. Protest, yes. Criticize, yes. But to hold Americas enemies and detractors as being in some way superior or preferable is a ridiculous stupidity.

There are a lot of things I dislike about America, Sam. A hell of a lot. But I'd live there in preference to almost any other cesspool on this planet, if I was forced to make a choice. And your little backwater of religious fruitcakes who still indulge in honor killings for falling in love with someone of the wrong caste would be a long way down on that list of choices. And any one of you who screams Ad Hominem can shove your logical rules of argument right up your nether regions, when they are used as a paper shield.

Those children you profess to love so much would be far better off being taught how to question objectively, how to think, rather than how to bow and scrape to a book of religious rules or reply to unthinking hatred with unthinking hatred - particularly when that hatred is disguised as morality, as yours is. Foley's. Spurious monkey. So many of you.
Do you think you're doing that? Are you proud?

Ah. Fuck it. The bullshit is piled so deep in here a man could turn the Sahara into a forest with it. I need fresh air.

Another resort to attacking SamCDkey personally for being Indian. This is against forum rules. She didn't attack anyone for being American that I can see, she only expressing her discontent with American actions not far from her country, something she has every right to be concerned about.

Yeah, so why are Americans so worked up about 9/11? Just forget about 9/11 already. It's only one city, right? We shouldn't have gone into the War on Terror, because America focused on 9/11 (one spot) as if it's something special.

Yeah, I agree with Baron Max! 9/11 is pure propaganda only. There is so much more death in the world, not just 9/11.

I agree with Baron Max again. Let's stop the War on Terror and let's concentrate on the drug problems and crime problems in America INSTEAD!!!

Baron Max and I see eye to eye on THIS ISSUE!!!!

See? Your posts are a perfect example of using the deaths of others to further your own agenda. It's what I said before, and your post simply proves it all over again.

And you don't use the death of others to promote your own agenda? Why are you railing against Muslims always? Have you always hated Muslims since you were born? I'm pretty sure 9/11 fueled your hatred; thus, my post.

    No, I don't.

I don't hate Muslims. I don't rail against Muslims. I'm against criminal, Muslim cowards and murderers who purposely, intentionally kill innocent people.

But I don't, and never have, used the numbers of dead people to further any political or philosophical agenda. But you, and many others, do it on a regular basis.

Precisely which specific Samcdkey-attacking resort are you affronted by, again?

I'm not seeing your issue for what you claim it is.

    I don't either then.

Don't try to backtrack from your previous posts. You blanket-target all Muslims in your unprofessionally bellicose posts. Should I pull them up for the entire Sciforum boards to see or are you going to backtrack again by editting them?
