Further, how could you eat such an animal? People do it all the time.

no. I know people who could/would, though.

I find that I have little respect for them, as they tend to be very self-centered people - their lack of empathy for the rabit says a lot about their lack of compassion for other people, IMO.

I'd shoot me a matching set.

    Then I'd drown their kids.

"It's okay to eat fish, 'cause they don't have any feelings"

Probably the same for fresh bunnies too.

After I killed them I'd feel compelled to eat them.

Thank god I'm not living off of grass.

Only if i was going to eat it, you have to respect it for what it is and it can only be one of two things:
    Bunny
    Food

I think it is fine to kill rabbits, they taste good as well.

I love the moral inconsistency people have. like dolphin safe tuna, whats wrong with the tuna? why do people hate tuna so much? I guess you can say "because they are smart" but what about sea turtles? they aint smart.

I guess you could say "they are endangered. but you and I both know thats bunk because I ask, why not kill rabbits? the answer is that people empathize and get emotionally attached to things with "cute" faces.

The argument here is killing things without any need to, if you want to kill a rabit because you have a clear motive, it is OK, as it is natural to kill things with motive, it is unnatural however to kill things because you like killing, that is simply a sign of psychosis.

A serial killer for instance enjoys killing, there is no real motive other than a perverse desire for watching someone struggle and die.

The motive in most cases is if something is causing you trouble, or you need to eat it.

No way. I think that when someone finds killing fun it's a sign of serious mental issues.

Many famous people started their careers shooting fluffy things, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Charles Manson and Elmer Fudd come to mind.

taylan007, curb your survival instincts. Otherwise buy a video game to satisfy your void.

Cats, lion to tabby, kill for sport.

How so? Taking life is key to surviving. I find people who don't like violence and can't understand killing to have serious mental issues. How detached from life can you be? Fucking agrarian society and its disconnects.
