I was only 8 in 1978. I had about 25 cents in savings. I doubt I could have bought a share. My financial relationship with the bank was also on a rather special level. I opened an account (with my mother holding my hand) and got a beehive coin collector. Then the money started growing until we (my brother and I) discovered you can get the coins out with a knive from the slit on top (the bottom was locked).

So it seems that past greed made me a poor man now.

    I bought 200 shares for less than $ 200.00!

I was then unconceived, so investment was a little beyond my means.

Is it just me, or does the guy in the top left actually have no mouth?

I too was unconceived, and remained that way for another 8 years. I do have to add though, that the guy behind Billy and in front of mouthless-man is a spitting image of my father (the same puppy-dog eyes).

Maybe I'll see if I can bum some money off him next time he pops up.

I couldn't have invested, even with hindsight, as like many others on this forum I had not been concieved.

How could I have failed to notice our dear friend Bill?
