Leave them alone...and mind our own business.

Uh, personally I'm all in favour of more immigration from Russia and the Ukraine.

    The women are so...exquisite!

Immediate bombardment of all populated areas with thermonuclear weapons.

Just kidding. Probably what Carcano said.

I just look at his web site. From what I saw, we agree on everything except the Iraq war. I'll be watching him on Tuesday to see what he has to say on that.

    Yep, leave them alone.
    Travelling and tourism.
    Trade and positive communication.
    That's it, that's all.

Do you agree with his stance on the Federal Reserve...that it should be scrapped or reformed?

This is a good series on the history of the Fed for anyone interested. You'll need the DivX plugin.

No, it's because he's the only conservative among the bunch.

    $16.6 million

And yes, we have once again beaten the previous world record of 4.3 million raised in 1 day.
We are up and over $5 million!

Expect to see a whole lot more news on this come monday morning!

I've never looked into that issue, I don't know enough about it to have an opinion. I'll have to look into it.

I hope it's in the news. All the major media pundits who have been ignoring him need a bare-butt paddling.

I think that record is for online donations only. According to ronpaul2008.com, John Kerry holds the overall record for fundraising of any kind in a single day at 5.7 mil.
But five million is very close, and nothing to scoff at. At least he broke the record again!
How is the 24-hour day measured, since midnight on the East Coast is only 9 pm on the West Coast??? Is there still time to raise more?

Heres something from Ron's site I dont get:

"In addition, the Federal Reserve, our central bank, fosters runaway debt by increasing the money supply — making each dollar in your pocket worth less."

Isnt this how debt is devalued and diminished...by increasing the money supply and thus devaluing the currency.

The famous economist Milton Friedman advocated doing away with the Fed entirely and replacing it with a computer!

I assume he's in favor of the gold standard, then? If US currency were backed by something of intrinsic value (like gold), it could not be devalued. Oil has served in that capacity to some extent since most oil sales have been in US dollars.

Clinton holds nearly $35 million three months before the voting starts, to Obama's $32 million.

Romney has raised $45 million since January.

    Thompson has raised $12.8 million

Ron Paul just passes goal of 12 Million, and how long has he been running?

Why are you comparing total combined quarter fundraising to just 4th quarter fundraising?

Paul has raised 18 million so far for the 4th quarter alone, with two weeks left which should net him a final total of 20 million. Compare that to Giuliani who in the 3rd quarter raised 11 million, and he was the head of the Republican pack. Obama and Clinton made 21 and 27 million respectively. Considering that Paul only made 5 million the previous quarter, and is now looking to be in the top 3 for 4th Quarter fundraising (maybe even the number 1), I'd say this is very significant. Especially considering his lack of name recognition and publicity compared to the other candidates. His support is definitely growing by leaps and bounds.

And I don't really include Romney's little loans to himself as a part of his total. That's not really "fundraising" in the sense of getting money support from your voters is it?

EDIT: I mean, c'mon! This is nuts:
