ATROPINE - powerfull dangerous deleriant , but effective anti nervgas agent and used with acute heartfailure

GHB- powerfull sedative and difficut to dose clubdrug with prosexual properties, sometimes medically used for difficult childbearths, kills a bit of physical pain, powerfull anti-anxiant and also relaxes the cervix and relaxes the veins, wich allows better bloodflow/stretch of the whole area.

LSD - Was used in holland by some shrinks in a therapy for people with severe post-traumatic stress, like concentration camp survivors, or people who have been abused as a child etc. Often those people are in some state of frantic denial or totally apathic, with the LSD the shrinks could let them "relive" the traumatic experience while someone was there to hold their hand and guide them to get it out of their system.

EPHEDRINE - kind of a meth-lite, with a rather annoying unclean buzz (but, with some alcohol smooth the spikey edges out of the buss) but very usefull for astmatic patient due to its temporal lung expanding effects, also used with less severe heart-attacks to stimulate the heartmuscle, in the most severe case, the heavier and more dangerous Atropine will be injected directly into the heart.

    DXM- Robotussin

A big problem with finding out medical uses for these things is that it's very hard to get the permission (in the US) to do the research.

Cocaine- numbs the nerves, good for dentistry, relieves fatigue, treats opiate overdose

Marijuana- many medical uses, relieving pain, nausea, stimulating appetite in chemo patients, glaucoma, anxiety, autism, expectorant

Crack Cocaine- just a smokable, pure form of cocaine, no medical use I can think of

Opium- pain reliever, treats cocaine overdose
    Heroin- same uses as opium

LSD-some initial studies show its use in treating alcoholism
XTC- useful in psychological counceling, therapy

    EPHEDRINE- legal, decongestant

It's not just addicts, but regular people with medical needs. The THC pill isn't as effective, it doesn't contain every active ingredient in the plant, and it's harder to adjust dosage.

    For free? ...cool.

Actually, people heal faster if they aren't in pain. Pain management is becoming recognized as a vital part of hospital and hospice care.

Drug hysteria bullshit, most hallucinogens are relatively non-toxic.

    Nope, not never.

Basically all the chemicals in drugs today were used medicinally and known to ancient shamans - the Spanish found it being used in the Americas, circa Idunno, and began to use it in their wines and elixirs.

Atropine is a tricky one they teach you in nursing school (fuck nurses)- and its learned from the Asian practice of eating bofu (sp?) and the Haitian art of making voodoo- its how they make zombies.

At any rate, cocaine- for medicinal purposes- is still being used for its vasoconstrictive properties that are ideal in operating on sensitive areas, like the eye.
And Freud, too used it on both himself and his patients. Jung was too pussy to try.

Speaking of pussy, dildos were first used medicinally to ease hysterical women.

Its not the drug but those taking it that make them look bad, same with guns.

At any rate, drugs were apparently vilified for political reasons and for their being associated with the great Unwashed.
Mexicans in California, I believe. And Asians for either opium or heroine.

I had liquid cocaine stuffed up my nose before a sinus operation.
Being wheeled into that operating theatre was a yeehaah experience.

Liquid cocaine? Up the nose? Its only used on the eyes.
