im probably repeating what everyone else has said, but i dont care on average men are physically stronger men are better at hiding their thoughts/feelings (though i think this is because of differences in upbringing) women are better at expressing their thoughts (see above) women are better at thinking about more then one thing at a time men are better at thinking about one thing at a time women's voices are better at soothing a baby men can drink more alcohol and not get as drunk thats all i can think of

John and Jane, hired on the same day to do the same things get payed the same way. Nuff said. If his check is higher, he's been there longer. Fraggle we aren't birds, or even close to them. If you look at chimps, gorrilas etc, males are the dominant sex, females get by in the world by being nice to the dominant male who, if the females are successful at sucking up, will protect them from other males. That seems to be the deal with the whole region of the evolutionary tree that we reside in. And it's evidenced blatantly in human society anyway and most human societies through history so I don't understand what the confusion is over. Women have always been second class citizens, thats how this species is wired. Things are changing now, but thats got nothing to do with instinct, and in fact its not changing as smoothly as it would if we didn't have instincts struggling against the change.
