Well she could use something on your ass or force feed ya a viagra...or a multitude of techniques I won't go into, to "Make" you. Some guys stressed...can't go.
I agree with you. When I was younger The most I did 3 in 2 hours then I could do no more , so to force an erection , that is hard , unless you solidified with wax.
and its men's fault. They give each other crap and laugh about it instead of taking it as seriously as women do.
Oh goody, more sexism. Women also can hold the view that "men can't be raped" and belittle a man by implying he is "weak". It is the fault of dickheads. Not one gender.
I agree with you. And as sexist as her comment may be, she is not half wrong. I find it interesting that you see her comment as sexist, but say nothing of this: See, I think Grim's comment is sexist, not just because he seems to say that a woman can rape him any time, as though rape is somehow pleasurable if you are male, but that men in general cannot be raped as one cannot be raped if one has an erection. His attitude is exactly what Orly commented on. It is the fault of men like Grim who belittle and make male rape by females to be trivial. Yes, there are women who also hold that view, but there is a huge issue with this attitude amongst men in particular. You see it in the reaction to female teachers raping their male students (as in the whole 'awww, I'd have given anything for my teacher to rape me back in the day *wink*') to cases where women rape adult men, as in the case in the OP. There is a belief amongst some that if someone orgasms during rape, then they somehow enjoyed it or that it was not rape as a result. Orgasm is not something that one can control, just as a man can be threatened with a knife to his throat and his penis manipulated until he becomes erect and then be raped by a woman and yes, he can and most probably will ejaculate. It is not through pleasure or desire, but through the body's natural reaction, ie outside of his or her control. But look at some of the statements in this thread and you will see true sexism. That a man cannot be raped if he becomes erect and ejaculates if he is unwilling and that women cannot rape men. And the people saying it are men. Orly was merely pointing out the obvious sexism in the male reaction to male rape victims. She was not being sexist. The men in this thread are.
Pretty much because those sexist comments have already been dealt with in this thread. Why drag up old ground knowing he won't change his mind?http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=2840366&postcount=16 http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=2839396&postcount=5 If I'd said what I was thinking, I'd have been banned. Hey, I was just going by what is said in this thread. I apologize if I hurt your feelings, but I did say men don't take it as seriously as women. Women take rape very serious. Do you see any women here saying "oh just sit back and enjoy it'?
Precisely. He can be blackmailed, drugged with something, tied up while intoxicated, or even held down if the perps are strong enough. Most guys, as pubertal boys have problems with unintended and unwanted erections, right? I don't get why men don't understand it...other than refusal...I expect it has to do with an unwillingness to recognize one's own weakness. The idea that one could be violated by a female isn't terribly in line with the current idea of manliness..it just happens to be true. Too, in the last thread, I believe it was noted that fear can actually cause sexual arousal. And this is old ground, do we have to go here again?
No Orly, you were blaming men as usual. Perhaps you'd be better off distancing yourself from other people's ignorance rather than agreeing with them? But I guess I give you too much credit. No wonder Asguard gets pissed off with the attitudes around here.
Exactly, it had already been answered and those posts were still ignored in favour of bullshit. Besides which blaming an entire gender for those attitudes is inherently wrong, and I was giving Orly some credit in believing she's smart enough to realise that - shouldn't have bothered. My bad.
Yes both men and women have stereotypical beliefs about gender and sex. For example the belief that a man can only sustain an erection if they want, for one, that even simple physical stimulation by a women or most certainly even another man couldn't possible keep it up against his will, not unless he wants or is gay! And its clearly impossible for a man to ejaculate and orgasm against his will: its not like such functions are controlled in the lower spinal column and are completely out of the control of the brain right? Lets go over it from a neurological perspective, there are multiple pathways to achieve erection, although they require the same linage between the nervous system and penis that tends to degrade with age, hence the need for Viagra. Some of these pathways can operate independent from the higher brain, hence involuntary and out of conscious control, hence things like "morning wood". There is no 'stop' mechanism, the brain can not order there not to be an erection, it can only order it 'on' and hope the penis gets the message, not 'off'. Orgasm and ejaculation is completely out of the control of the brain, if the parts are responsive they will charge up the orgasm circuitry until it fires, the brain can make the parts more responsive but it can't make the parts less responsive. These features are true of both genders, even some women can 'ejaculate' due to a developed enough Skene glands.
