With the current technology, can an electron be separated separately? Control it in a small area, or move in the direction we set?

At a very high temperature, the gaseous substance expands to a certain limit when heated, and the electrons break away from the atoms, which become a charged plasma. At this time, the electrons are released and exist independently. So can such electrons be separated one by one? Has anyone done this and how?

That's pretty much what an electron gun does it just heats up a filament and strips its electrons with an electric field.

    Volume.

A professor dinged me once for saying "area" when I meant "volume". Science gotta be precise.

I might have gotten away with "region".

Yes. Electron guns have been around for decades.
