Why was romans thread closed?

While I was posting in it, that was really irritating.

It was moved to the Cesspool because that's where we are moving "awards"
threads. It was closed because it solicited a shouting match of childish insults.

You could have just editted out the part that solicited a shouting match of childish insults.
The post I was making had some really great childish insults and now they're just gone forever.

We can't have award threads on SciForums. There's no argument you can pose that will convince the mods otherwise.

And why isn't this thread closed? Wasn't there an announcement that why-was-this-thread-closed threads would be closed?

 

I guess it dpends on if it's a legitimate question or not. I think this thread was posing a good question.
