    In summary:
    1. Republican Party has gone further and further to the right since Reagan.
    2. New Grinch's Changes in the 90's
2A. Made all committee chairs appointed by the heads of the senate and house.
2B. Changed congress's calendar to a 3 day week allows congress to not need to live in D.C. congress no longer lives together and get to befriend each other.
    3. Polarization was un-usually low between WW2 and 90's, it normally was high, but not this high.

    Solutions:
    1. Term limits will reduce rate of republicans being "primaried out" as republican house and senate members in their final term can act rationally rather then trying to win the next election in their highly jury gerrymandered district against even more radial candidate.
    2. Obviously end gerrymandering which has both helped and harmed the republicans, giving them seats, but increasingly to the most crazy of them. What is the solution to Gerrymandering? Let this video give you and idea, or look up what Maine is doing?

    3. Return Committee chairs to seniority
    4. Force congress to live together in D.C. again.
