Why U.S.A is the best country in the world.

Here are my reasons. Feel free to contribute.

1: We're number 1 in most sports; baseball, basketball, football, soccer, running*other Olympic types of sport*.

2: We have the best, most influential economy. America has a crisis, the rest of the world has a crisis.

3: We have the most rights/freedom.

4: Our government is proven to be the most caring for its people.

5: We have the best music. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, SlipKnot, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Lil Wayne*And all the other best rap/r&m artists*, Michael Jackson, etc.

6: Most powerful/successful army in history.

7: Most diversity.

8: Best movies in the world.

9: Best scientists/ most modern inventions and breakthroughs.

1. The Russians give us a lot of trouble in sports.
2. True, but when other Countires go to pieces, it affects us also.
3. Germany, England, France and other Euro Countries share our freedoms.

8. Yes, we spend a geat deal on movies. Most bad, but some good.

Still, haveing traveled over much of the world, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I love my country, but many of the things you stated aren't really correct.

Baseball, basketball and American football were all invented in this country, and we're pretty much the only ones who play these sports. While they may be the most popular sports here, they certainly aren't in other parts of the world. As for soccer, the US has never even come close to winning a World Cup.

usa economy rules the world, if usa dollar falls, the world falls (not for ever anyway)

 

It's your opinion if you think that, if I respect it.
But many would agree with me that americans are the ones making those good movies.
I'm also pretty sure The Beatles were from Seattle, so...yeeeh, hate to show you up but you might want to check your facts, lol.
And Slipknot CAN be too heavy/deep for some people, so I understand if you don't like them.

I'd just like to add it isn't the best country in the world, far from it, but it does have many good qualities within it like most of the citizens that reside here are from foreign nations and they all contribute to the qualities of what this country is all about.

 

Why can't everyone be more like Cosmic? Just say what you need to without blatantly telling people they're wrong and insulting them.

 

Because everyone has their right to agree to disagree. True there's no need to insult but I really don't let it bother me as some people seem to. If insults are made then reporting that to a moderator is the best thing to prevent it from continuing not insulting them back.

 

So glad I'm not the only one with some common sense.

You're the one that was stating you were being insulted. I just asked you to show us where. Obviously, you could not do this...as no one has insulted you in this thread. You need to grow a little thicker skin. Disagreeing with someone, or pointing out blatantly false statements is not an insult.
