Why has SpuriousMonkey been banned? (Redux)

My last thread was inexplicably locked, with so much as a reason or warning. Is there evidence for why SpuriousMonkey was banned?

There is an explanation in the ban list. That's why the first one was locked. No need for additional explanation for every ban.

There are two options:

1. You leave, with or without 'Goodbye' thread

2. I help with permaban, if you think you'll be tempted to return.

And there is another one:

3. Turn your PC off. Go out and celebrate. When you cool your head, then come back and tell me your decision.

Anyone know why darkside has been banned? I know in the ban list it states that it's due to being a previously banned member but I thought he had been forgiven. What has he done wrong this time?

I made the mistake some days ago in questioning a moderators knowledge on a certain subject and the vindictive ego gave me a warning , under the guise of a comment I made over a week ago . Thats what it has come down to here on this forum , half baked moderation , and we simply have no recourse against moderators as the admin is no longer here .

For having the audacity to fight for a forum that was open to all points of view , that encouraged lively and interesting debate which had mature moderators .

Because he is pissed off that the modrator did not have the manners to explain why his thread was locked .

If other posters opinions annoy you , then why don't you leave , its obvious from your reply you have no understanding of the damage you are doing .

When are you simply going to front up and admit to yourself that you and other mods are the main problem on this forum .

Banning is out of hand, surely as a forum of adults it is possibly to absorb a rogue post or even a rogue poster here and there?

 

Any facts to support this "out of hand" and what do you mean by it?

Besides this forum is mainly inhabited by teenagers and people with equal mentality.

And if you do not, why do you keep such unsuitable company?

 

Bans should be put to a democratic vote...more than 51% for banning, and they're banned, otherwise posters are at the mercy of moderators' prejudices.

 

We have enough drama as it is. We already have a past experience of what a disaster the implementation of this idea is, if you remember.

And more than 51% is how many members?
Besides Sciforums is not a democracy and I don't agree that moderators suffer from some kind of prejudice in this respect, each ban is examined beforehand and can be overturned by Plazma.
