No. You are confusing two unrelated things. Yes, in the sense that the path of light has to travel a longer distance. If you were standing under the Eiffel Tower, looking at a (very tall) mirror 1km away, the image of the Tower would appear to be 2km away, because the light rays travel 1km in each direction.
