England is not a Monarchy, the Monarchy is Titular, no power, no authority, England is a Parliamentary Democracy.

The average citizen of any nation couldn't care less about Government anyway.

Hold on....what is the point of a King though? Why don't the English want a King?

    Now you just prove that.

It isn't that they don't want a Queen, it is that they don't want to be ruled by a Queen, so they rescinded the governing authority of the Monarchy.

No difference who calls himself what. The monarchy was replaced by colonialists and they were replaced by structural adjustment policymakers and global arms dealers.

Do I need proof? It is quite obvious that many average Americans don't care, and proof enough is the fact that only around 35% of the people vote during the elections.
In fact, the average American can't even pin his State on the map, let alone foreign nations.

Yes, but the Queen let them do so?

Does the Queen have any power whatsoever? Does she get any income from the Government?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2004United States presidential election, 2004

    United States presidential election, 2004

At least 12 million more votes were cast than in the 2000 election. Based upon 2000 census figures, 42.45% of the U.S. population voted in the 2004 election. Note that this is a percentage of the entire population, not of just eligible voters. The record turnout—the highest since 1968—was attributed partly to the intensity of the division between the candidates and partly to intensive voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts by both major parties and their allies. She reigns as Head of State, but does not rule.
She is not totally powerless however.

The Prime Minister visits her once a week to discuss matters of state.
Having been monarch through every Prime Minister since Churchill, her knowledge and advice are not taken lightly.

She has the power to veto laws, though this is never used.

She has the power to threaten abdication, which would cause a constitutional crisis, and would probably force a General election. The queen is popular, and the Government whose actions caused this would not benefit.

As the head of the armed forces, a military coup would have her at its head.
This is not likely at the moment, but it was not beyond belief in the Wilson era.
